Space Center Houston Discount Tickets and Promo Codes

What Space Center Houston tickets cost in October 2026, and every discount that holds up: buying online, military, educators, CityPASS, members and groups.

Updated October 2026

No promo code takes much off a Space Center Houston ticket. The saving that applies to everyone is buying online: an adult ticket costs $29.95 online, about $5 less than at the box office (official prices, checked October 2026). After that it depends on who you are. US military get $5 off, teachers’ friends and family get $5 off with a code, and visitors who will see four or five Houston attractions save more with CityPASS.

Powerd by GetYourGuide

Space Center Houston sells this same timed-entry ticket on GetYourGuide, at $30 per adult this month, rated 4.5 from 3,919 reviews, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before (checked October 2026). That is the online price, not a discount on it.

Every discount that holds up

These come from Space Center Houston’s own promotions page, checked October 2026.

  • Military. $5 off regular admission, all year, for active and retired military with a US military ID, shown at a ticket booth. Because it is claimed at the booth, where prices run about $5 higher, it lands close to the online price. Active military also get 20% off in the gift shop.
  • Educators. Free general admission through March with a current school ID, one ticket per ID. Their family and friends can use the code TEACH2601 for $5 off each ticket bought online. It is a 2026 code, so check that it still works before you rely on it.
  • Children and seniors. Children 3 and under are free. Children 4 to 11 and seniors 65 and over pay less automatically, as in the table above.
  • Members. Membership gives free return visits for a year, free parking every visit, and half price on the Mission Control tour. Worth pricing if you live within driving distance or will come back.
  • Groups of 20 or more. Discounts apply when the group reserves and prepays at least a week ahead. Groups call +1 281-283-4755.
  • AAA. No longer offered.

Codes on coupon sites are another matter. Few of them can be checked against the official list, and some are out of date.

Prices, ratings and review counts from GetYourGuide, checked October 2026; treat them as the shape of the market, not a quote.

CityPASS advertises savings of up to 51%, and that figure assumes you use all five entries. Add up the gate prices of the places you would visit anyway; if that total beats the pass, buy the pass. Kemah Boardwalk sits about 15 minutes from Space Center Houston, so the two make an easy day. The CityPASS page lists what each entry covers.

Is there free admission to NASA Houston?

Not for most visitors. The promotions page lists no free days for the general public (checked October 2026). Admission is free for children 3 and under and for educators in March, and a paid membership covers return visits for a year. The free part of every ticket is the tram tours onto the NASA campus: Rocket Park, the Astronaut Training Facility and the NASA Campus Tour are all included. The tram tour tips explain how to get on them.

What costs extra

Three things sit outside the ticket. Parking is $10 per vehicle. The Historic Mission Control tram is a paid add-on, and Space Center Houston’s own combo of admission and Mission Control starts at $39.95 for the cheapest age band. Food is sold inside, and outside food is not allowed in the building, though there is a covered picnic area next to the guest car park. If you have no car, the NASA Houston tour comparison prices the shuttles from downtown, and the hours guide shows when to arrive.
